The Order of the Condor was established as a means of recognizing persons for generous financial support to the Interamerican Scout Foundation. Although the foundation is pleased to accept gifts of any size, membership in the Order of the Condor is conferred upon those who provide total support of US$1,000 or more.

The full amount of the pledge must be paid within two years.
Prior contributions to the foundation are credited if a member wishes to upgrade to a higher level. For example, a Bronze member of the Order of the Condor may upgrade to a Silver, Gold, or Comendador level by contributing an additional US$2,000.00, US$4,000.00, or US$9,000.00, respectively.
